Professorship of Political Science – Goethe University

Requisitos:

• The Institute of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is seeking to fill the following position (civil servant or equivalent salaried employee status) at the earliest possible date:
• Professor of Political Science (W2, tenure track) with a special focus on Education Policy/Political
• Socialisation Research. The successful applicant will have an international reputation in the field of policy analysis and/or political socialisation research. He/She is expected to specialise in education policy/socialisation processes in schools. It is furthermore assumed that he/she is willing to participate in current and planned research projects at the University and engage in teaching on a wide scale in all the Faculty’s degree programmes, especially those in education sciences. As the incumbent will also be largely involved in the University’s teaching degree programmes, experience and concepts for teaching the respective subject content in schools are desirable. Experience in securing third-party funding is an asset.
