Junior Professor of Didactics in Political Science with a Focus on Sustainability / Transformative Education – Freie Universität Berlin

Requisitos:

The successful applicant will have completed university studies with teacher training in the field of political science, didactics in political science, social studies, social sciences, community sciences, or a similar discipline, and/or a second state examination in the subject didactics in political science (or a similar subject.) They will hold a doctorate as well as demonstrating excellent achievements in research and publications in the field of didactics in political science. The successful candidate should have relevant teaching experience at the university level and be able to teach in German. They will also have experience in teaching at schools in accordance with Section 100.3 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetzes, BerlHG). Ideally, they will have experience in key areas of research and work in the field of sustainability and transformative education.

Applications should include a CV with information pursuant to Section 102.a.1.4 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz), copies of all certificates of academic qualification in German or English (please enclose translations where necessary), a list of publications, a list of courses previously taught, and evidence of teaching aptitude. If applicable, please give information on experience in primary and secondary education. Please include information on involvement in ongoing and future research endeavors, joint research projects, and externally funded projects. If necessary, please include language certificates. If applicable, please give information on partnerships with industry, inventions/patents, and spin-offs.
