International Consultants on preventing and combating illicit trafficking in SALW, ammunition and explosives

Requisitos:

• Candidates having citizenship of or permanent residence of the Republic of North Macedonia are not eligible to apply;
• University degree in security/defense studies, law enforcement, political science, law, international relations, or similar. High school diploma with police administrative courses in relevant field and specialized subject area with five (5) years of additional qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the first-level university degree;
• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience at the national and/or international level of policing and/or security, including progressively responsible experience in security/safety management, police management, public administration, or military;
• Knowledge and understanding of standard policies and practices in politico-military dimension as well as transnational aspects of security in international organizations, and practical experience in their implementation;
• Availability at short notice, including travel to and within North Macedonia, flexibility and ability to work under deadlines;
• Adherence to high standards of professional integrity;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse national and cultural backgrounds, while remaining impartial and objective;
• Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspectives into tasks and activities;
• Skills and experience in drafting reports and other documents;
• Computer literate with practical experience with Microsoft applications..
• Professional fluency in English with excellent written/spoken communication skills; 
• Knowledge of local languages in the geographical area of OSCE practical assistance projects in South Eastern Europe or Eastern Europe would be a valuable asset.
