Requisitos:
Candidates are expected to have a completed Ph.D. in Sociology or in a closely related field, or to be close to completion (ABD) by the time of appointment. Candidates will have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and an active program of high-quality research.

• An established or developing research profile in the area of Black racialized social inclusion and exclusion, broadly conceived, and with a record or potential for community partnered research with Black advocacy and/or community groups
• A scholarly record and research trajectory that demonstrates evidence of, or credible potential for, impact through peer reviewed publications and funded research
• Evidence of the application of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in research and teaching design and practices
• Capacity for teaching excellence as evidenced by a teaching dossier, which typically includes a teaching philosophy statement, examples of best practices in pedagogy, sample syllabi, summaries of student experience surveys, and/or other relevant achievements in teaching
• Evidence of or credible potential for teaching courses in our core methods pathway, as well as courses in our Social Justice and Equity Specalization
• A track record of contributions to Department, Faculty and University and/or communities through collegial service
• The names and contact information of three (3) individuals who may be asked by the Department of Sociology to send confidential letters of reference
