Requisitos:
The successful candidate will attend to the disproportionate impact of the criminal justice system on Black and Indigenous peoples and people of colour, with a focus on one or more areas of critical race studies, restorative justice, community-based justice alternatives, Indigenous criminology, and/or abolitionist justice. We are particularly interested in the work of Black and Indigenous scholars and scholars of colour whose research and teaching critically examine power, inequality, and colonialism. The successful candidate is expected to situate criminological knowledge in sociohistorical context and highlight a multitude of voices within the field of criminology. In addition to teaching in their area of expertise, they will teach Introductory Sociology.
