International Peace, Security and Children Research Chair (Associate/Full Professor) – Dalhousie University (Canadá)

The successful candidate will join a flourishing inter-disciplinary research community at Dalhousie focused on issues of ethics, social justice, governance, security, and global affairs and will build on the success and the global reach of the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with an established and outstanding record of research on the recruitment and use of children in violent contexts (including trafficking, sexual violence, criminal networks, radicalization, and/or armed forces, groups or gangs)

Applications should include a cover letter (two pages maximum), a detailed curriculum vitae, a two-page research statement, a two-page statement on the proposed research program for the Chair, and the names and contact information for three referees. Applicants will also be required to submit a completed Self-Identification Questionnaire through the online submission process.
