Post-doc/Research Associate for the Analysis of Technology Transfer and Advisory Work in Bamboo Value Chains in Vietnam – Rhine-Waal University

Organismo: Rhine-Waal University

Requisitos:

Above-average master degree in agricultural economics, rural sociology, natural resource management or related disciplines with socio-economic orientation

A pertinent PhD/doctoral degree will be of advantage

Well-founded experience with the application of methods of qualitative and quantitative empirical social research as well as the mixed-methods approach

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with methods of inferential and business statistics

Experience in conducting research projects and the preparation and publication of scientific studies

Strong motivation to conduct and publish high-quality research

First proven experience in publishing your own scientific results are of advantage

High degree of independence, responsibility and team spirit and the desire to work in an international environment

Willingness to conduct several months of fieldwork in Vietnam

Excellent English skills (level C1, oral and written)

Work and/or research experience in a developing country are of advantage

Work experience in rural advisory/agricultural extension work is of advantage
