Requisitos:

We are looking for an internationally recognized personality who represents this field in teaching and research. The person to be appointed should have broad knowledge in social theory and theory of societies from classical thinkers to current debates, and also apply these theories (in particular theory of societies) to their own empirical research. Preferably, this research focuses on social change and/or integration in contemporary societies.

The research focus of the person to be appointed is expected to be compatible with the core subjects of the SOCIUM Research Center on Inequality and Social Policy. A strong interest in cooperation is expected.Teaching obligations include primarily the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in sociology and related subjects of the department.
