Requisitos:
Candidates preferably should have a PhD in sociology or closely related discipline. ABD applicants may be considered.Position #11304 Sociological Research Methods: Qualified applicants will demonstrate expertise and teaching experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two core courses, SOCI 1013 Introduction to Canadian Society and SOCI 2003 Introduction to Social Research; the third course will be SOCI 2153 Social Inequality or a similar elective. The successful candidate may deliver the course virtually or in “hybrid” mode, combining virtual elements with face-to-face instruction, following public health guidelines.
Responsibilities may include service activities and honours thesis supervision. The successful candidate will have access to some research funds.
Position #11309 Social Theory: Qualified applicants will demonstrate expertise and teaching experience in social theory. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three courses, including SOCI 1033 Social Problems, and two additional Sociology courses. The successful candidate may deliver the course virtually or in “hybrid” mode, combining virtual elements with face-to-face instruction, following public health guidelines. Responsibilities may include service activities and honours thesis supervision. The successful candidate will have access to some research funds.
