Requisitos:
The successful applicant will have experience in establishing interdisciplinary and cross-faculty research and teaching priorities, for which he/she will play a central role in Bayreuth with regard to International Relations and in the Department of Sociology. This includes linking with the University of Bayreuth’s research focus areas such as «Cultural Encounters & Transcultural Processes» and «Governance & Responsibility» as well as with the Cluster of Excellence «Africa Multiple» and other projects in the social sciences and humanities. We also expect an active contribution to the University of Bayreuth’s internationalization strategy as well as the fulfilment of responsibilities in academic self-administration. The successful candidate will have an excellent international network in the subject area of the professorship and proven leadership in internationally communicating research.
