Verification Officer – OSCE

Requisitos:
First-level university degree in international relations/political science, statistics, business administration, or graduate of a national military or police academy at officer level
Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience. Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience in any of the following fields: arms control, disarmament, database usage for inventory management;
Experience in arms control and weapons storage verification inspections and/or inventory control systems, including field inventory procedures, and report writing;
Experience in working in arms control and verification in a military verification centre or international mission conducting monitoring or verification of weapons limitations, withdrawals or elimination;
Experience in identification of military equipment, particularly weapons systems and munitions that are regulated by the Memorandum of 19 September 2014 and subsequent Minsk agreements;
Ability to read the Cyrillic alphabet;
Proven ability to draft concise, coherent reports incorporating narrative, visual and tabular data, meeting tight deadlines;
Experience with any or all of the following software packages: ArcGIS, Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS Office package including Excel and Access;
Ability to compile and analyse information of a political-military nature;
Demonstrated experience/ability to conduct training in a field environment;
Excellent analytical, diplomatic and negotiation skills;
Demonstrated critical thinking, precision in work and problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure; ability to concentrate for long periods on detailed information;
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a member of a team with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity;
Ability to co-operate effectively with supervisors and colleagues with diverse experiences and backgrounds;
Ability to operate Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as familiarity with internet search engines and techniques.
