Requisitos:

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Politics or a related field by the appointment date and have teaching experience specifically in environmental politics and Canadian politics. In addition, candidates must present evidence of:

experience as an effective teacher of large undergraduate courses. Evidence of excellence in teaching must be provided through a teaching dossier that outlines the teaching philosophy, teaching accomplishments, including experience with course/curriculum review/development, excellent pedagogical practice, sample syllabi, teaching effectiveness, and peer teaching assessments if available;

experience supervising Academic Teaching Assistants;

experience in teaching courses related to the subjects listed in the table above;

strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate and graduate students must be provided;

commitment to our values of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as it pertains to service, teaching, and scholarly research or creative activities, including a demonstrated ability to make learning accessible and inclusive for a diverse student population; and

ability to contribute to the life of the Department and the University through collegial service.
