Requirements

PhD in economics or another social science with a quantitative orientation

profound knowledge of quantitative empirical / numerical / theoretical methods and excellent analytical skills; knowledge of optimization software (GAMS or similar) is an asset

academic record that underlines to publish in top-ranked journals in the field of energy & climate economics and policy as well as related interdisciplinary journals

We expect:

a high level of proficiency in oral and written English; a basic knowledge of German, or the willingness to acquire it

willingness to travel for work (project meetings, workshops etc.)
