Associate Gender Officer – OSCE
Organismo: OSCE
First-level university degree in law, sociology, social/political science, public administration or other related field;
Minimum of four years of related professional experience in government, an international organization or an NGO;
Proven experience in designing, planning and implementing project activities that support gender equality and democratic institutions, and promote equal participation of women and men in public affairs; demonstrated experience in project management;
Good understanding of the international environment in which gender related activities are being discussed, promoted and implemented as well as a good knowledge of the functioning of international institutions and bodies entrusted with the task of promoting and overseeing the implementation of gender-related treaties, conventions and other instruments;
Political intuition and tact; organizational, networking and good analytical and drafting skills; resourcefulness, initiative and maturity of judgement;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; working knowledge of Russian would be an asset;
Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds;
Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.
