Politics & International Relations Lecturer or Assistant Professor – Mount Allison University (Canadá)
Candidates should possess, or be nearing completion of, a Ph.D. in Political Science and have a record of research and undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the equivalent of five 3-credit courses in the Political Science and/or International Relations Program, including:
One section of POLS-1001 (Foundations of Politics)
Two of the following 3-credit second year courses, POLS-2301 (Introduction to International Relations), POLS-2001 (Democratic Thought), or POLS-2221 (Introduction to Comparative Politics)
One of the following 3-credit third year courses, POLS-3331 (American Foreign Policy), POLS-3311 (International Political Economy) or POLS-3991 (Special Topic in Political Science), preferably in the field of international relations.
One 3-credit fourth year course in their area of expertise, POLS-4991 (Special Topic in Political Science), preferably in the field of international relations.
