Convocatoria: Canadian Politics – Assistant Professor – Dalhousie University (Plazo: 15 de agosto de 2020)

Candidates should have expertise in Canadian political institutions, theories of public policy and one or more area(s) of public policy. The search is open to scholarship reflecting a wide variety of approaches to the study of democratic governance and public policy including but not limited to anti-colonial and anti-racism perspectives. The successful candidate s research program and record should reflect a strong commitment to the study of democratic institutions, governance and policy processes in Canada. They will be expected to teach and supervise at the undergraduate and graduate levels (at BA, MA, and PhD levels) in Canadian politics and to contribute to Dalhousie s interdisciplinary programs. Candidates must have a PhD in hand by the start date of the appointment; a promising research profile and agenda; and demonstrated potential for teaching excellence. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
