IE University s School of Global and Public Affairs (IEGPA) seeks applicants for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Comparative Politics with a substantive focus on countries or regions in the developing world. We are especially interested in scholars using big data, machine learning, or experimental and quasiexperimental methods; and whose research addresses issues of technological change and innovation. The successful candidate should demonstrate capacity to produce publications in top peer-reviewed outlets, both generalist and field journals, in the coming years. Candidates must have a PhD from a recognized Department of Political Science or Economics, or demonstrate clear evidence that the PhD will be complete by July, 2020.
