Requisitos:

We are seeking an outstanding scholar, with a proven track record, with a background in political science (or related social sciences) who has experience in working with researchers in the natural sciences (e. g. ecology, modelling and geo-sciences). We are looking for an internationally oriented, ambitious, collegial scholar who shares our dedication for integrated environmental research and will contribute to UFZ’s und FSU’s collaborative research. The selected candidate has been successful in acquiring third-party funds as well as has experience in international research collaboration. He/She is expected to initiate and strongly engage in interdisciplinary research projects.

Applicants must hold

• PhD and postdoctoral lecture qualification (Habilitation) or equivalent academic merits
• Pedagogical qualifications through prior teaching experience
• Excellent track record in research and teaching demonstrated by a strong publication record in leading journals
• Collaboration in international and interdisciplinary research networks
• Experience in teaching and with the supervision of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses/dissertations
• Leadership skills
