Crime and Law: Qualified candidates will have a vibrant research program in the area of the Sociology of Crime and Law and an established scholarly publishing record commensurate with rank, which may include other forms of research-based publishing. The ability to teach courses in either qualitative or quantitative methods, and a track record of addressing equity, diversity and inclusion both in the classroom and through research are assets. The department strongly encourages applications from Indigenous scholars and such candidates are encouraged to self-identify. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an academic unit.

 

A completed PhD in Sociology, or ABD status with an expected completion date no later than the start date of the position, is expected.
