Requisitos:

 

We prefer candidates with an extensive background in Family Studies and who have a completed PhD in Family Studies, Sociology or a cognate discipline before commencing the position, as well as experience teaching undergraduate courses in Family Studies. We have a particular interest in candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching and supervision of undergraduate students, which includes contributing to a student-centered environment that nurtures and challenges students to achieve at high levels; and commitment to diversity.

Applicants should be prepared to upload the following documents by the deadline of March 15, 2019: a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching interests and orientation, evidence of teaching abilities and effectiveness (course outlines, student evaluations, etc.), and a statement identifying their contributions, or potential contributions, to diversity, along with their ability to work with a culturally diverse student body. In addition, applicants should arrange to have 3 confidential letters of reference sent by the same deadline via email to soci.head@ubc.ca with the applicant’s name in the subject line.
