Sociology Tenure Stream Position – Brock University

Requisitos:
- Applicants will have a record of demonstrated excellence or exceptional promise in research and teaching in the field of Indigenous Studies. The Department is especially interested in attracting candidates with demonstrated experience working with turtle Island Indigenous students and/or Turtle Island Indigenous communities.
- We expect applicants to have a Ph.D. in Sociology or in a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. They will demonstrate a record of excellent research and teaching in Indigenous Studies, and a capacity to support other core and elective courses in the Department’s offerings. We may also consider applicants who have progressed to the point where completion of the Ph.D. is imminent, and who demonstrate clear promise of excellent research and teaching in Indigenous Studies.
- In addition to scheduled and unscheduled teaching responsibilities in both undergraduate and graduate programs, the successful candidate will be expected to sustain a successful program of research and perform administrative service
