  • The Department of Political Science at Brandon University invites applications for a probationary tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting 1 August 2018. The preferred candidate must demonstrate a commitment to student-centred undergraduate teaching and learning opportunities and must provide evidence of teaching competence in both International Politics and Comparative Politics. Ability to teach US and/or Canadian foreign policy, American politics and our first-year course, Fundamentals of Politics, is essential. The preferred candidate will also have a completed PhD (or be near completion) in Political Science, a strong record of undergraduate teaching, an active research program (specialization open), and a commitment to collegial collective governance.
