Requisitos:

• We are interested in applicants with experience in community-based or action-oriented research methodologies and a commitment to engaged scholarship. Research interests and abilities that have the potential to enhance current research areas and/or introduce new strengths in the Department, and that make collaborative linkages between the natural and social sciences, will be considered assets.
• Teaching experience and capabilities to teach large 1st and 2nd year courses and upper year seminars in the Environmental Studies and Geography BA programs are expected. Ability to make contributions to student recruitment will also be considered an asset.
• Applicants must have a PhD, or be in the final stages of completing their doctoral degree in environmental studies, geography, or a related discipline, demonstrate their commitment to excellence in teaching and research, and be committed to developing a strong program of research and scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.

Comentarios: Applications are invited from individuals who are able to teach core and other courses in our Environmental Studies and (human) Geography BA programs, augment existing teaching and research strengths in these fields within the Department and more generally at Carleton, and provide leadership in one or more of the following thematic areas as they relate to urban environments: 1) urban natures; 2) feminist political ecology; 3) environmental justice; 4) Indigenous urban perspectives; 5) colonialism and cities.
